Summer has red splotches on her neck. I think it's from formula that drips while she's eating. But I can't seem to get rid of it. I wipe up the formula of course and I clean it real good when she has her bath but it still won't go away. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

If it's an allergic reaction, it won't go away right away but should clear up.

Some infants have extra sensitive skin. Have you tried baby lotion?

Convincing the world that the only way to solve the ongoing issues while raising children is PERSISTENCE. You have to keep trying things and not give up........ they eventually go away on their own. ;-)

Yes I just started trying that, hopefully it'll help.

Yep, also try Vaseline, I know it sounds gross but it works and powder even, an unscented powder.

Is it possible that it's heat rash? It doesn't even have to be hot weather for them to get it. if they are too warm, like dressed in a lot of layers or something, they can get it. Kade had it not long after I got him home...I watched them swaddle him like he was going to the arctic, so i did the same thing, and he was too hot. We went to watch Richard's nephew play ball last night and it was hot outside...Kade had a few red splotched on his forehead because of it. Anyway, I read up on it, and the neck is one of the places they get it commonly because of the folds and stuff. it's probably from the formula, like you said, but I wanted to throw it out there as a possibility.
