And I'm glad that I have certain control over my anger... I'm so easily aggravated today, it's just not funny. I've been working really hard at not snapping at the kids all day....I've only snapped at them a little... emlaugh.gif

The little (*&&$^%$#^% didn't want to eat at lunch time, and the two bites that I DID make him eat, he spit in my face... so I sent him up to bed without eating, and he's not getting a snack later, either. This is the second time this little *&%* spits his food in my face. GROSS! growl.gif

The older *&^%*&^%$# I could just slap across the face a couple times to rearrange his attitude. If he says "Okayyyyyyyyyyy I WiiiiIIIIiiiiillll..........." when I ask him to do something ONE MORE TIME, so help me God, I dont' know how long I can refrain from YELLING AT HIM!

Thank GOD they're all out for quiet time... because I NEEDED THE BREAK!!!! growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif

Are these daycare children your talking about??? I do daycare too and when i start feeling the way your feeling i know it's time for a break. Take a vacation/sick day just for yourself. You should have those in your contract.

Also i can feel your anger through your words. The kids can sence this i'm sure. That could be why they are misbehaving. I always try to remember that if it was my kid in someone else's daycare how would i want my kids treated. It always makes me step back and realize that these kids are someones pride and joy.

Try to get that vacation/sick day. YOU really need it.

Definitely agree with you... I need a vacation!! rolling_smile.gif

Yes, they are daycare children, all the more why I am very very very well behaved with them. I do not cuss, I do not yell, I do not hit, do not raise my voice... I am the picture of calm. But I am raging inside... lol blush.gif

They are misbehaving because they have issues at home, that I know. I keep the kids as occupied as I possibly can - they are constantly doing something. It's when they don't want to do an activity that they don't behave... idle kids make for horrible behaviours... rolling_smile.gif

I konw they are someone else's children, which is why I would never ever use any other form of discipline other than the time-out. I don't even use anything else on MY kids while those kids are there. But let me tell you... if those were my kids, they would have had a spanking a LONG LONG time ago. dry.gif

Fortunately for me, the youngest was sick yesterday after lunch... so the dad came to pick them up. I had my sitter come in from 4:30 to 6pm, so I could have a break from ANY kids.... it was nice. But all I did was clean. rolling_smile.gif

Today is a pd day for both older kids' schools, so I have all 5. Thankfully the kids' grandfather is coming to get the older one at some point before lunch... and the little one is still kinda sick, he's napping right now. My kids are being picked up aruond 4:30 by their grandfather as well, dh and I are going to a Christmas party tonight for his work. That will be nice!
