...we think
The good news is his numbers were down by .3 I never thought I would be excited over basically no progress. BUT his liver tests came back good so that is really the good news. The current theory is Breasmilk Jaundice so we are alternating formula and nursing and I have to pump when he gets formula. On Tuesday we go back for another blood test and as long as he has made a big improvement we will get to go back to only nursing. And that will basically proove that it is breastmilk jaundice in which case it will go away by 4 months but not needing the constant monitoring. So far he has been taking to the bottle pretty well and still nursing well so we are keeping our fingers crossed for good news again on Tuesday. If it's not this it will mean he has some blood disorder causing it. This post has been edited by KEB&1MVB on Sep 2 2006, 08:10 AM -------------------- |
