I've been doing a lot of research over the past week... just trying to absorb as much as I can about my diagnosis of endo and everything that's going to come along with it.

The two drugs that I know for sure the doctor will be suggesting are Lupron and NuvaRing. I've read a lot about them and about them in regards to my migraines and I'm leaning towards the Lupron simply because it's not a bcp and it acutally lowers the amount of estrongen (which is what supposedly links migraines and strokes with bcp's). But seriously, the thought of going through menopause at 26... having to deal with the hot flashes and mood swings and anxiety and all that seems (from the reviews at least) to come along with this medication for six months... it makes me want to cry.

Has anyone here used Lupron? And if so, did you experience side effects?

I never thought this would be such a difficult decision. unsure.gif

I haven't used Lupron, but I used Nuva Ring. It rocked for making my periods more predictable.

My mom used it and said it was terrible. I've read online good and bad from people. Some people said they had no real issues with it and others did. So it's a 50/50. I think it's like BCP. Like some people have NO issues with Depo Provera and others had major issues. Let's hope you are one who has no issues. thumb.gif
