I didn't even need to go out and buy anything.
1. Grate a bar of Ivory soap (I used Zest ![]() 2. Add 10-15 drops of food coloring (my soap was already green so I didn't add any coloring) and 2 tablespoons of warm water to the grated soap. 3. Add more warm water, a tablespoon at a time, and stir until it looks like thick dough. 4. Spray an ice-cube tray with vegetable oil spray. 5.Press the mixture into 4 sections (for me it filled 8) of an ice-cub tray and freeze for 30 minutes. Pop the crayons out of the tray, and let them dry for a day or two before using. |

That sounds like so much fun! I have all of this stuff, too. Including Ivory soap.

That does sound like a cool recipe. How easy does it wipe off though? I know the store bought ones are a pain in the tush.

We have a smooth surface so it wiped off easily. It's just soap so you could do a little test spot with a bar of soap before you make them! |
