well, after two days of nothing but one accident after another...literally some are 5 mins apart. I broke down and bought a potty chair. Not just any potty chair either, this one has bells and whistles..no really it does!
this stupid things sings when he goes, has some sensor light on it, and talks to him!
now wasnt that what I was doing?
anyway, so far we have introduced ourselves to it tongue.gif and we are drinking water to see what happens next. he seems interested in it. I hardly let him near it so it might draw him back again soon.

I just cant believe I spent money on this when we have three perfectly good toilets.

I had that one for Raygen. It talked to her and when she went in it, it would sing a pee pee song to her.

You know, it wasn't until I read this thread that I realized how many "P" words are actually in a children's vocabulary that are not that enticing,,,,,,

Pee
Poo
Puke
Puss

Hmmmmmmm, any others blink.gif

Good Luck, hope the new singing potty seat helps.

emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif Sorry I didn't realize there was a question in this thread. I thought you were just unrejoying in the fact that you stooped as to buy a singing potty chair and you weren't whether to hit yourself with it, or not. I really do hope it helps, sometimes that's what it takes is a funky gadget to get them on the right track. I have no advice, pt was never a hard task for me and I always had back up from daycare or dayhome when I was at school. hug.gif

Well I have a few more P words that are favorites for Erin:

Pizza
pretzels
peaches
pears
popcorn

Those can be considered adult P words too Stacy - how's that for a start?? tongue.gif

Yes, if we're not talking about what comes out of them then it's what goes in. The life of a POSITIVELY PREPARED PARENT. rolling_smile.gif

Ok that was weak too but I'm PRETTY PATHETIC AND POOR!!! blush.gif
