I can't even believe I am 30 weeks already - I only have 9 more to go until my scheduled C-section on December 19th!!! I am so excited but getting really nervous about the planned c-section. With Olivia, the c-section was an emergency and her heartrate was dropping, etc. etc. so I never had time to think or be nervous, it all happened so fast....but on the flip side, it will be nice to go in and just have a baby....and I am really looking forward to nursing, just have to get past the guilt of having not nursed Olivia and nursing this one!!!!

I hope that nursing goes better for you this time. I had a hard time with my 1st too, but I didn't get help, I just quit. This time I got help and it has been going wonderfully. Well, asside from all the freaky stupid stuff I have to deal with.

I never even tried with Olivia - too freaked out by the whole thing, too neurotic...doomed myself before I even started...she had a super bad time with reflux which who knows if breastfeeding would have helped or not but figured I am older and calmer this time and it definately won't hurt to nurse, it can only help and even if this one has reflux too at least he is getting breast milk.......plus the cost factor!!

This post is too weird! I too am expecting my 2nd, a boy on Dec. 19. And my first was an emer.c-sec. because of the heart rate dropping. And I doomed my breastfeeding with the first. How weird is that??!!! I had planned to have another c-section, but I decided since this will be my last one, I want to experience a v-bac delivery. I am a bit nervous, but excited too. Good luck with your birth & baby. We will have to swap pics of our little ones when they get here .

I just commented in another post how fast time goes when it's someone else who is pg, I can't believe you're already 30 weeks!
