ok, Kaylie is one of the names i am seriously considering for a girl but i am not sure how i want to spell it. the traditional name for the irish dance is spelled "Caleigh" but i think that would be hard for the child to spell and can lead to confusion on pronunciation... plus i want it to start with a "K"
suggestions?? Kaylee Kaylie Kaleigh -------------------- mama to Jacob, James, Jade, Kaleigh and Riley!!

I like Kalie or kaylee but I think Kalie is more common than Kaylee...wow that was confusing haha as my name is Kristi vs. Kristy or Kristie and it is hard to find my spelling on name things..Good luck but very cute name.

There are a couple of other ways you can get the same sound your looking for that would also make the name a little more unique.
Kaelee or Kailee -------------------- NICHOLE

I like Kaylee because it looks like it sounds, making it easier for them to learn and for others to spell.

I can't remember which spelling I liked best. Kaleigh was it.
About her learning to spell it...she won't know any different. If Maddie can spell "Madeleine" with no problems then surely Kaleigh won't have trouble with her name. Although, everyone else will. This is coming from an "Aimee". I guess I take after my mother...I like the more difficult names. |

I love the Irish spelling, Caleigh, but I agree. Most people would see that and think Call-ley. Not, Kaylee. So I say Kailee.
