At my last appt they gave me a copy of my OB records to carry around with me in case I go into labor. I just decided to look through them and there was a copy of the 18week ultrasound report - kinda makes me excited... So my EDD by the first day of my last pd is august 4... The EDD by the size/development from the ultrasound is July 26.. Why wouldn't my OB tell me!? That puts me at 38w2d instead of 37w0d! I just want to hold my babygirl...NOW!!! Which date should I go by!!??

A u/s is only good for dating purposes if done before 12 weeks after that it really can be off. Either way you are full term but unfortunately it is still a waiting game for when she decides to come out.

I don't know from ultra-sounds, but it sounds as if you're moving along fairly nicely. As far as which date to go with goes, I say take really good care of yourself and your baby and go with the date your baby is born. Bless you both! smile.gif
