Hi! I’m working on behalf of Ring Pop, and I wanted to get your opinions on their new Sugar Free Ring Pops, along with other sugar free treats you give to your kids. The benefits are that Sugar Free Ring Pops won’t cause cavities, have no fat, and have only 30 calories per pop – meaning they are a tooth-friendly treat for kids.
I have a few questions, and would love to hear your thoughts. First off, when do you give your kids candy (as a reward, car trip, whenever, etc)? Also, are you more likely to give your children sugar free snacks, and why? Thanks!! Kristen kristen@americanpopdigital.com |

Sugar free as in using splenda, aspertame, etc? If so no, I do not give my kids items that have those artificial sweetners as they are bad for EVERYONE.
My kids get candy on occasion, not really any rhyme or reason to when or why - mainly organic lollipops or candies, but they get other stuff too. We stay away from the artificial sweetner kinds/gums, etc., though. -------------------- ~*Karen*~

We generally don't eat sugar free foods. I don't like artificial sweetners.
We don't eat enough 'junk' food for it to make much of a difference. The girls will occassionaly have something like chocolate, etc. But to them, it isn't a treat. We don't reward good behaviour with candy. For them, it is another 'food'. And they honestly are more likely to chose something else over candy. For them, strawberries to eat in the car on the way home from a supermarket trip is much more exciting than candy. -------------------- Nina, Mama to Emily Kate, Odessa Jean & Aysun Aleisha.

I did not know they made sugar free ring pops, I'll have to try one.
-------------------- I am the proud parent of 2 great kids. I am expecting 1 more and am preparing for the amazing day. I'm searching for advice and great deals on baby supplies. So far I've got a crib and would love some advice on other places to find essential needs that won't break the bank.
