My kid has been nothing but miserable!!! She's 17 months and getting in some molars but she's still screaming constantly! Tylenol doesn't seem to help. She doesn't seem to like to take naps... Doesn't want to sit in the highchair... I don't know if we're susposed to baby her or ignore her to what but I'm going bonkers! I can't think, work, do school, anything with the way she's crying and whining and throwing herself. Any suggestions? I figured it'd stop when she started daycare again but it hasn't seemed to help.

I'd try letting her suck on a popsicle or a cold teething ring and see if that helps her. If tylenol is working, can you try motrin? ((((Big hugs to both of you))))

Do you think maybe she has a tummy ache or has this been going on for a few days?

Oh my gosh! That's got to be so hard, I would be at my wits end too. I don't what could be causing her to act like that for such a long time. Can you call your doctor and ask them? Sorry, I'm not much help.

I would check with your ped too- if she is acting that strange I would place money on it being an ear infection or something else. She just doesn't have the ability to communicate it to you.

I agree see if she has an earache, Hanna used to do that when she had one, I always knew because she was inconsolable. If it's just teething, try Hyland's Teething Tablets they work wonders.

Try some orajel, it's safe for infants and numbs the gums directly.
I'd take her to the pediatrician just to make sure she doesn't have a tummy ache or an ear infection.
