If so, did they crawl first? How long after they crawled did they start walking? Ashley seems to be content atm with crawling, which is fine with me.

Ummm. Katherine is cruising around holding onto furniture. She falls on her bum if she lets go and isn't leaning against anything though. She still isn't really crawling but she has recently started to really scoot around on her belly pretty well. She digs her toes into the carpet and propells herself fowards. She just can't get her chest off of the ground for very long.

Maddie isn't walking either . She crawls great, and she just learned how to pull herself up to stand. I don't think I'm ready for her to walk yet. lol
My sisters baby started walking at 11 months ( I think ) . She will let me know when she reads this. |

Actually, Brianna started walking at 10 months. She is now 13 months. She has mastered it and is now working on running. (Think that is gonna take some time though, she falls when she goes too fast). But I have lots of confidence in her!!!! Go Brianna!!!!!

Zach,s pretty close... he's been cruising for a little while... now he's at the point where he's getting braver. He only walks around the table with one hand holding on...and if we hold out our hands for him to come to us, he lets go of the table or couch, takes a step and then falls forward... so I don't think it will be long now!

Haley learned to crawl at 7 months, took her first steps at 10 months, but now at 13 months STILL isn't walking on her own with any regularity. She'll take a step or two, but then dives forward onto her tummy. She'll cruise all day, though, if she has furniture to hold on to. Go figure!

Malik just started crawling this past weekend so no walking yet. In his crib is the only place he has attempted to pull himself up but hasn't suceeded yet Might be awhile before he walks, his thighs are so big they would rub together too much!

Malik was 20lbs at his 6 month appt. and is now 8 months old so who knows. I am going to do what you did and go home and weigh myself and then weigh myself with him so I'll let you know tomorrow how much he weighs. I am anxious to find out myself.

Alison isn't walking yet either, BUT I think it will happen very shortly. She crawls very well.....I can't even move that fast on my knees...LOL. She cruises the furniture and can move from one piece of furniture to the other with one step and without holding on. She stands very well on her own without holding on and can stand from a seated position without holding on to anything. A few weeks back she took a few steps but that was about it...she hasn't done it since so...
