Cool tip about kids watching TV

Happy Spring! Group: Administrators Posts: 27,473 Member No.: 2 Joined: 8-February 03	I know we should limit TV, but I do allow a little TV each day. I just read a really cool tip for making TV more educational. Turn on the closed captioning so they read along with the show. I never thought about this, but I think it's a brilliant idea. Diamond Member Group: Members Posts: 27,917 Member No.: 236 Joined: 4-August 03	Yeah, I tried that once with Kylie, not for the reason of trying to get her to watch less, but to give her practice reading....she totally despised it and figured out how to turn it off herself. Not sure how she did it, as it took me a long time to figure out how to turn it on.
