is my daughter not a shopper!?!
i took Mya to get some new clothes..she wanted nothing to do with it. NOTHING!
using my mom as bait I finally got her to the mall, hoping for the inspiration to start..waiting...waiting...
the first words out of her mouth.."mom I want lunch"..great dry.gif
so we go off to eat and I'm really hoping this will give her the energy to shop her head off.
we eat and then head off to the first store. I start picking out tweey type outfits and she knocks down every single one. She then goes for the most tacky item available and asks to go home. In desperation i buy it for her..maybe her next choice would be less offensive and she will catch the shopping bug.
We head into justice (i am armed with a 40% off coupon) so i bribe her with unlimited spending. she picks out two shirts..and wants to go home..again..
two stores and severe whining later we head home.

When she was little she LOVED to shop..where is that child?
I feel like those certified looney pageant mothers on tv who's kid has lost the title of little miss grand supreme. You know the parent living vicariously threw the kid.
I mean I would have died if my mom said here's your favorite store, shop till you drop. I just dont get the rest of the stuff she is into and so this has always been something we did together..now I'm just lost on a new plan..I'm not thrilled about this growing up bit..can we do reverse aging please!

Ashley is not a big shopper either. She will look at catalogs and say she wants something, but as far as going to the stores... she'd rather be doing something else. So, for now, I shop mostly without her (but armed with her list) LOL.

I know it is more about doing something together rather than the actual shopping, so maybe you can find something else you have in common to do together. It's so hard watching them grow up.

My daughter had better be a shopper!!!!!!!!

Jack is a good shopper, he loves clothes. Laila does enjoy a mall trip too so hopefully it stays that way!

My girls are NOT shoppers at all. So I go buy them, bring them home, have them try them on, and return at least 1/2 of everything I buy. rolleyes.gif growl.gif

They do love to shoe shop, though! The problem is I will buy them bunches of shoes, but then they only want one or two pair to wear, the rest (that they ask for) they decide after I've bought them and can't return them that they just don't like them. growl.gif

Girls always have to be difficult. tongue.gif
