Well after being pregnant and thinking I could eat all I wanted to over the holidays, I swear I've gained at least 10lbs in the last month. My pants are tight on me again, my rings don't fit. I was doing really well with going to the gym up until about a week before everything started happening, running again etc, and felt good. I haven't worked out since. That's about ummmm 4 or 5 weeks now ohmy.gif

Now that I'm not pregnant I have NO excuse. We leave for vacation to a beautiful beach resort in just under 6 weeks I believe, maybe more like 5, and it's time to get back into shape. I'd like to lose at least 15 lbs by then.

Anyone with me lol rolling_smile.gif

I am tring but not as hard as I should I have a a lot I want to lose, I had lost 7 between thanksgiving and christmas and gained 3 back between christmas and new years, and 2 back off so I am back working on it I have a min of 21lbs to lose then I will work on more, I am aming for smaller goals in order to reach them and not think they are sooo far away, my forst goal is 10 to lose so as of last friday I was down 2.5 in the new year a total of 6 since thanks giving. I am bumed I gained those 3 back but they are almost gone again and hopefully for good.

Well yes.........I jsut want to be wiser and try to keep the weight off - and firming up would be great, but lets not try to do too much at one time! rolling_smile.gif

lets see......

Today was the first day the gym was open since Christmas holidays started (it's located in the school, and when the school is closed, so is the gym), and I didn't go. I cleaned the house like a MAD WOMAN today and I was pooped by the time it was time to go.

wavey.gif Me! Myself, DH and my 2 SIL are having a weight loss competition from January 1 to April 5. We each pay up front and at the end whoever has lost the greatest % of weight gets all the $. Our 2nd weigh in was yesterday and I am down 7.8 lbs and in the lead. biggrin.gif DH is down 6.8 lb and I am sooo proud of him!

Yep. I have lost 22 pounds and have more to go. I want to get down to at least 165 (i'm 230 now) because I have to weigh that to enlist.

I am trying, but with my health issues it's dragging me down quickly. The scale fluctuates 6 pounds every month growl.gif . I never had this problem before. Neways.....I need to spend my time focusing on eating less, eating healthy and NOT worrying about the scale or if pounds come off....although 40 pounds would be GREAT. tongue.gif

That about sums me up laugh.gif

I would like to eat better, get firmed up, and improve my overall health. The problem is just that I love sweets and hate to exercise rolling_smile.gif

I have to get on the ball though, there are lakes everywhere and DH is already working on getting a boat so.....
