I applied for this apt near my home. I'm scared if I get approved because I will be living on my own with my son for the first time. I could have moved out years ago but I got pregnant so I needed help. Now Im ready to be on my own. This is a big step for me. My parents won't help me, its a long story. I have to do everything on my own. Im really scared. I can't imagine living in an apt all by myself with my son, its a scary thought.

Moving out on your own is definetly a big step, and it's scary to say the least. It's also full of possibilities. You'll learn so much about yourself, and what you can do. You really tend to grow up. Best of luck and try to think of it as a new and exciting experience instead of a scary one.

BTW how old are you and your son?

Im 27 and my son is 3. I didnt have a reason to move out because my mom was always working, it was like being on my own until she had a car accdient and now shes home all the time. I havent been home alone for a long time, I ve forgotten what its like. It is too much deal with just living with her, like I said its a long story. I was going to move out but I got pregnant I knew it wont be easy taking care of a baby and money so I had no choice but stay at home. Now, its time for me to move out. I need a space of my own.
