Especially cute dresses and shirts that have that criss cross style around the boob area? Do you know what I'm talking about? I have two very cute sun dress type dresses that I wanted to wear for work (well actually three) but I feel like my boobs are hanging out for the whole world to see. wacko.gif I wore one one day with a cami underneath and I also wore a sweater and I got several comments at work from the PIG guy lobbyists that come in. They gave me crap all day saying that I was blinding them and they couldn't look at me. rolleyes.gif growl.gif dry.gif I keep seeing younger girls wear cute little t-shirts underneath them, so last night I tried that style out and DH said it looked hideous, and I agreed.

Any suggestions? I'm about half tempted to get over the "I'm busting out here" issue and wear them anyways! It seems like a ton of dress/shirt styles this summer are like this sad.gif

ya I cant wear them, well I guess I can but I dont like feeling I am showing so much skin, sometimes yes but not at work. I am in a clothing rut, I keep wearing the same old stuff. I have no clue what looks good on me, and really need to get some new things but have to clean out my closet first.

I have this problem all season. But even more now. Though I am PG, all PG clothing seems to be low cut. Though I am not quite in the Maternity yet.

Other clothing anything low cut ... not for me. I am top heavy so it looks like I am letting it all hang out, even with a cami underneath. I have very full bbs, so it seems like I am wearing a push up bra. BLA nothing ever works ... I normally have to wear crew neck shirts to keep from feeling as if I am offending anyone!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I came home from a long day of shopping yesterday in tears. I'm still having the hardest time finding something to wear to my HS reunion which is in two weeks. I hate waiting until the last minute. So DH gave me the afternoon off and I went shopping (an hour away) all by myself. All the dresses are sooooooooooooooo SHORT these days! I don't have the too much boobage problem, but I kwym. I tried on a lot of plunging neckline dresses and they just look like I'm trying to show off what I don't have. Even with my small boobs, I'm showing too much cleavage for my taste. I bought two dresses at Forever 21, but DH didn't care for them much, neither did I once I got home. bawling.gif I'm so frustrated as you are.

Sorry to nab your post, but you read my mind Karen. I'm having a hard time finding clothes that are not too junior-ish but not too mommy-ish. Does that make sense? Its either way too much fabric or way too little. growl.gif

I know the t-shirt dresses are really in right now. Have you tried those with maybe a cute cropped jacket to dress it up for work?

Yes Rae, I know exactly what you mean!!!! I either feel like I'm trying to cover everything and have not even an ounce of "I feel sexy" or clothing that says "I'm a tramp look at me". rolleyes.gif The dresses I bought are very similar to the t-shirt type dresses, but when I put a t-shirt under them I look retarded, like a teenager or something. tongue.gif blush.gif

I have a wedding to go to in Connecticut this weekend and tried on a ton of dresses. I finally found 2. One is more elegant, graceful and definitely can be worn to work as well. The other one is a halter dress, so a lot of back showing, but I feel sexy in it, and look skinny in it too. tongue.gif I could get by with wearing it to the wedding (I hope, because I am tongue.gif ), but not to work.

Have you tried the halter look. That type of dress for me at least doesn't really show off the cleavage, but it does show off my back. That I don't mind so much. The dress I got is cute, too, because it has a ribbon around the waste and that mesh stuff sticking out the bottom of the dress. Don't know what it's called. blush.gif

Just a quick question to you guys - are you wearing a good bra that keeps them up even if they are small?
That really does make a difference!

A good push up?

Well mine aren't small per se, but they are shriveled up raisins and in turn that meant I had to resort to the good ole push-up bra. I swore I'd never do it, but hey gotta do what you gotta do. So yes, mine are supported very well these days. laugh.gif

Great.
You certainly don't have to have big ones for a push up - but a push up that keeps them where they should be - especially with those types of shirts and dresses

Well yeah, they stay where they should be, but still quite a bit of cleavage is showing.

Ugh, Karen I feel your pain. I wish there was a "30 something" store...I know that sounds stupid, because I know a lot of you are going to say "wear whatever feels comfortable"...But I feel sorta misplaced in the junior section (too sexy) and yet misplaced at places like Ann Taylor, which sometimes looks like drapery on me. Great for work clothes, but not for a reunion/club dress, kwim? DH doesn't care for halter tops on me that much. With no boobs, the added material at top makes my chest look like one flat board. I have very small shoulders. I can do a halter with a v-neck, but then you get that too much cleavage issue and my boobs are going to pop out issue. Ugh. I told DH that I feel like I'm back in HS stressing over what to wear to this dang reunion! I feel so lame, but I really want to feel confident and I admit that goes hand in hand with what I'm wearing. blush.gif

I found a cute empire cami at the Limited yesterday that made my boobs look great. I wore it with a padded underwire strapless bra and DH was like wow! Not too much, but all in the right place. Jen, you would be proud!!! thumb.gif And I may just wear it with jeans...which is unfortunately not what I wanted (I wanted a dress) but oh well. I just want to be done! There really isn't much out there that I'm loving these days....

I like Nadia's suggestion about a cami with a little lace, something that doesn't make it look like a teenager. I wear a lot of those really thin shirts under dresses (I think they call them tissue paper shirts, I got mine at Target in just plain white, wear under anything). What about one of those? You can see a bit of your skin color through them, but you feel covered. It would be a shirt you would "layer" with if that helps.
