New Member Group: Members Posts: 25 Member No.: 2,845 Joined: 21-November 05	My son has had croup for almost 2 wks now. He's not bad but his cough is "wetter" sounding and a little more often. Otherwise he's fine! Is this normal? That was exactly what I was going to say! My son has had croupe twice, and both times they gave him a steriod, that helps with the harsh coughing. It takes some time for the cough to go away, but I would recommend getting steriods to help.
It can be a long process, but I wouldn't worry. It'll clear up soon.
