Changing lives one diaper at a time since 2006 Group: Members Posts: 839 Member No.: 3,297 Joined: 15-February 06 |
When did your little ones begin to teeth? Tripp is constantly drooling and chewing on his hands. He no longer sucks his pacifier, he chews it. He only three months though and to me that seems a little young. Any thoughts?

I think children can start as early as 2 months teething. That is when Kaylee started, but she didn't get her 1st tooth until about 4-5 months. She is 11-months old and has only about 2 1/2 teeth. I would just say get him some teething toys. Kay loved them. Also, when she had the paci I would dip it in ice water, she loved it!! Good luck. It can get very painful for them. Kaylee is teething and had been really fussy. Also, don't give him the numbing orajel stuff. I've had several people tell me bad stories about that darn stuff. HTH.

Andrew was 8 months old when he got his first. I thought for sure he was teething at 2 months too - he had all the signs.

My little girl, now 18 months, broke her first tooth at 9 months. Teething.. signs of it, can last months!! The only cure that we found for drooling was taking her to Las Vegas when she was six months old! The dry heat dried her out!

Bre started working on her first tooth at around 4 months and didn't actually get it in until around 10 months. She now has 9 teeth and is working on 3 more. So needless to say we still have some time yet.

Sarah started getting her first two teeth together right around Christmas (she was 10 months.) They are still just barely poking through.

Keith does the same thing. He used to chew on his hands when he was hungry but now he does it all the time. He's almost four months and I also thought that was real young to start teething but maybe it's normal. -------------------- |
