I didn't know where else to go to express how I feel but I just want my 2 babies in Heaven to know that I am thinking about them, I miss them & I love them.

They will forever be missed, Jessi. Know that they are resting in their Daddy's arms up in Heaven.

What Makes a Mother
I thought of you all, I closed my eyes and prayed to God today. I asked what makes a Mother and I know I heard Him say, A Mother has a baby. This we know is true. But God can you be a Mother when your baby's not with you?"Yes you can!", He replied with confidence in His voice, "I give many women babies, when they leave is not their choice."Some I send for a lifetime and other's for a day. And some I send to feel your womb but there's no need to stay. I just don't understand this God, I want my baby here. He took a breath and cleared His throat and then I saw a tear. I wish I could show you what your child is doing today. If you could see your child smile with other children and say,"We go to earth to learn our lessons of love and life and fear. My Mommy loved me oh so much I got to come straight here. I feel so lucky to have a Mom who had so much love for me I learned my lesson very quick My Mommy set me free. I miss my Mommy oh so much but I visit her each day. When she goes to sleep on her pillow's where I lay. I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear, Mommy don't be sad today I'm your baby and I'm here."So you see my dear sweet one, your children are OK. Your babies are here in my home and this is where they'll stay. They'll wait for you with me until your lesson is through. And on that day that you come home they'll be at the gates for you. So now you see what makes a Mother. It's the feeling in your heart. It's the love you had so much of right from the very start. Though some on earth may not realize that you are a Mother until their time is done. They'll be up here with me one day and know you're the best one. Written with love for all the Mother's missing their babies Jessi. I haven't experienced the pain of losing a child. A couple days ago, while looking up poetry, I came across this poem and it touched me. When I read this post of yours, this poem immediately came to mind. So, I searched and searched for it until I found it. I don't know what is wrong or right.... I hope it is ok that I put it here for you to read. If putting it here is not the right thing to do, I am so sorry. -------------------- |

Oh, Barb, thank you so much for thinking of me & my babies in such a special way. The poem touched my heart more than you know. I must admit, I started crying half way through reading it and had to take tissue after tissue before I continued reading the rest. You are very thoughtful for having shared that with me and I appreciate the time you took to look for it, type it and post it to me. I thank you with all of my heart.

You are very welcome.
Not that I have any experience like you have .... but I imagine that if I had ever went through something like that..... that what is described in this poem, is how I would imagine myself getting through something that tragic. I hope that makes sense. -------------------- |

Tonight, I am sitting here wondering what sex our baby would have been. Everyone kept saying it was a girl but I insisted it was a boy. I wonder if it was "Mother instincts." I can't help but to imagine how excited we would have been to find out the sex of our baby and share the wonderful news with our family and friends. And then to finally call our baby by its name. Oh, we miss you, little one. You will be in our hearts today, tomorrow and always.
P.S. Grandma was thinking about you today too. |

It is funny how your mothering instincts kick in as soon as baby is conceived. I am sure your baby knows how much it is loved an missed. I am sending you lots of hugs and prayers tonight. I am sure your baby is playing with our two cats ( my dd calls them everynight to stay above her bed and hit the bad dreams away) I am sure your little one is helping. Lots of hugs to you

I know this may sound funny to some but I was single when I had my first miscarriage. The father of the baby at the time denied both me and the baby. 9 years later, after I met my husband, I asked him if he would be my first baby's daddy when we are all in Heaven together. He accepted and said he will. Does this sound okay to you or is it just crazy?

That doesn't sound crazy to me at all, every child, here or in Heaven, needs a father!

Thanks! I feel better knowing it wasn't a crazy request. Btw, my DH found the u/s pictures I thought we lost somehow of our baby. I was happy to see the u/s pictures again but also very sad. It left me questioning, why & how, again.
