But it felt so good. Dh really enjoyed doing it with me..because it was outside. It really was great. Fresh air and thru the woods! The bad part was I told the kids to wear tennis shoes and Tiffany wore flip flops..so half way thru I had to trade shoes with her..and My feet still have blisters

I felt liek I really accomplished something!

Convincing the world that the only way to solve the ongoing issues while raising children is PERSISTENCE. You have to keep trying things and not give up........ they eventually go away on their own. ;-)

thumb.gif Good for you ... and the whole family! Sounds like a fun workout, except for the part about the blisters -- ouch!

About two years ago or so, we were in Colorado for a wedding and took a hike up this scenic mountain near Pike's Peak. We didn't know how long the trail up was, we were just tagging along with another couple who wanted to explore it and let me tell you, it was 8 miles up! (And of course, the 8 back down.) At some points, it was so steep, I thought I was going to die of hyperventilation laugh.gif but it was so nice and invigorating all at the same time. I slept like a rock that night! However, my legs were so sore, the plane ride back to Belgium two days later was absolute torture, being all crammed up sad.gif

edited to make sense
