we just got back from her 4 month well visit today. She is doing so well.

her stats are
weigth 14lbs4oz
height 24 inches
head 16 1/4

She is perfect!!! Doing well and hitting milestones. Although she got 4 shots and one oral vaccine, she didn't appreciate that!

He reccommended starting her on rice cereal.... although I am not sure she is ready. She barely easy 6 ounces at a feeding, and she is satisified. She sleeps well and sometimes she sleeps 10-12 hours at night, and sometimes she wakes up once for a bottle.

I don't think I am going to start her on cereal yet, what do you think?

I say if she is sleeping that long then leave it alone for another month or so. She is growing thats for sure.

Sounds like she is growing good. I think I would wait for while longer to give her any cereal.

we don't have to go back for a check up for 2 months so, I think I'll wait another month to start cereal

WTGrow Emma!!! thumb.gif Sounds like she's doing just perfect.

It is recommended for those formula fed and/or breastfed to not receive any solids til at least 6 months of age due to the "open gut" they have. It's very harsh on their little systems. I, personally would wait til she's 6 months. She's doing fine w/out them now. Just my 2cents.gif .

WTGrow, Emma! I'd wait on cereal until she is 6 months. No sense starting her so early if she's thriving without it. wink.gif

Sounds like she is doing really good! We started Keith on cereal at about 3 months and he did really well. It helped him sleep all night. If she's sleeping so well I'd wait a little while too.
