DH just left yesterday for another 2 week business trip....well 9 days. Took his little brother with him. (That should be fun Hehehehe *evil laugh*) This should be his last trip for about 8 or 9 months at least. Anyway he gets back on the 15th and I want to do something REALLY romantic as a welcome home. But I have no idea what I plan to make him dinner but again I need ideas as to what to make. Anyone?

Maybe like a three course meal a soup followed by one of his favorite dishes then a nice dessert.

How about some really good ribeyes (does he eat red meat?) and buttery mashed potatos. Maybe some asparagus on the side. Totally a guys meal. Then finish off with a rich dark chocolate mousse. I have a recipe if you want. It's not a quick one, but oh so yummy.....just let me know! Oh and if you guys drink, add in a great pinot noir or his favorite beer!

I'm with Rae, tonight I made DH's all time fave, a ribeye (with Montreal steak seasoning), roasted potatos, and green beans with diced tomatos and mozerella cheese. Dessert was Almond Joy bars, his favorite candy bar.
I think most guys would love a good steak with their favorite sides and desserts |

Skip the food and just take the dessert into the bedroom.

Why don't you order in some fancy italian food for you both, nice bottle of red wine etc etc
Less cooking for you and more time to prepare "other" things -------------------- |

And I vote for put some "cheap" sheets (some you can toss) and buy some rose petals (you may wash and then dry them first as they put lots of chemicals on roses). ANYWAY. Put them all over the bed and then put a rose petal "path" to the bedroom...Have some romantic music playing, candles lit, etc. Sexy undies (b/c I can't spell the L word LoL)
You may want to eat dinner at a nice restaurant first....or just have "desert" first And if you eat dinner at a restaurant first wear the Sexy L and give him a peek so that's all he's thinking of the entire meal. -------------------- |
