I know you have been suffering terribly with allergies so I thought I'd update you on my similarly afflicted husband. Stephen was retested for allergies in the Winter and started up with shots again about Feb. (him & all the little kids that go there:rolleyes: ) I noticed when I'm walking these days how beautiful the Spring has become and it dawns on me~Stephen is not sick! I asked him last night if his allergies have bothered him & he said not at all. The shots seem to be much more effective this go round than the last several years ago.

I knew you had either considered or tried them at one point but I thought I'd share with you that they seem to be working (at least this year) for him. Yeah!! Still hoping you get some relief from yours soon! hug.gif

Ah thanks for thinking of me Cheryl. smile.gif

I actually got off my bum and found a new allergist a few weeks ago. This guy is awesome. He told me there is no way I should be having the problems I am after taking shots for 5+ years. So he retested me for everything the testing is a ton better than what my other allergist did. The testing he did allows him to make a more concentrated serum so hopefully this will make a difference. I go back on Monday to get my 1st shot. He promises me he can make a difference for me and I hope that's true.

I'm glad things are working for your husband this time. It would be absolutely wonderful to be outside and not be miserable.

Keeping my fingers crossed. I wonder if the testing mode is better now? Stephen had the same scenario as you (except that he hasn't done shots in years) got a new allergist, got retested, got somewhat different results on the testing, much better results with the new shots. I can't believe what a great Spring he's having. I SO hope it works for you, too!
