I have extreme dry mouth and no matter what I drink or how much it wont go away. Does anyone know anything I could do to make it go away or help it any?

This happened to me after my surgery last year. Is this since your surgey? Eliminate caffeine if possible. I used ice chips and popsicles, they either helped or just comforted me. tongue.gif Not sure which.

Lisa, idk if you're taking any medications but for instance there are several anti-depressants that cause dry mouth as a side effect. so if you're taking anything at all, maybe check with your doc and see if that is a side effect. i am not a coffee drinker but the rare times i do drink coffee, it gives me that dry mouth feeling so if you drink coffee, i'd say to stop drinking it.
