has anyone tried those fullbars? there the ones where you eat one and drink a glass of water 30 minutes before your meal. they're supposed to help you eat less by filling up part of your stomach. theoretically they're supposed to work in the same sense that having weight loss surgery would. i've been using them for about a week now and they do seem to lessen the amount i can eat. i don't know if i've lost any weight right now because i haven't weighed myself.

Haven't tried them, but let me know if they work for you. thumb.gif Everyone tells me to drink a full glass of water before eating, that it will make you feel full and not each as much...doesn't work for me. I might feel full but my desire to taste the food makes me eat the food! laugh.gif blush.gif

Whats in them? unsure.gif It would seem to me that you are making up most of the calories you would have eaten anyway by eating the bar first, and are they really healthy for you?

well they're different flavors so the don't all have the exact same ingrediants but one of the main ingrediants in all of them is puffed wheat. i'm assuming that by drinking the water with it the puffed wheat sweels filling up part of the stomach. calorie wise lets see one of the ones i have here (caramel apple crisp biggrin.gif ) has 160 cals nad 1g of fat. i've tried 3 different kinds (the apple one, cocoa and cranberry almond.) and they all seem to be within 10 cals of each other and within a couple of fat grams. they're pretty big as far as health bars go and so far seem to be helping.

Do they have a lot of fiber too? That's good if they do.

Thought about it, but the sugar and calories turned me away. Im slowly learning to eat the correct portion sizes and that will be the best thing in the long run.
