still not walking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rolleyes.gif I can't believe it. She'll take one or two steps and then look at you like "no way lady, I prefer crawling". rolleyes.gif

I don't like to be impatient and pushy, but I really need her to walk and NOW because we leave for our camping trip in 23 days and it's going to be a royal PITA if she's still crawling and not walking. Crawling babies and camping don't go real well when you camp primatively. rolleyes.gif

Gotta love her though. wub.gif wub.gif love2.gif

Awww! Walking is so hard - and it hurts when you fall wink.gif

Do you use a walker at all? I found that Nora had no interest in walking until I put her in the walker and she realized how the world changed from that angle wink.gif Of course, she may have just been ready to walk at that point anyway.

I bet she'll be walking by the time you leave wink.gif

Oh heck I intro'ed her to 3 different walkers MONTHS ago. Everyone told us she'd be walking way before 12 months because she was standing up and cruising well before that, but NOooooo. She will push them here and there, but her interests are to tear up and into everything that pushing the walker just isn't as fun. wacko.gif She's so stubborn. She's worse than Kylie and I combined, and that's hard to imagine. laugh.gif She can stand for many minutes at one time and not move and she has control enough to sit down after standing so long. She's just stubborn. tongue.gif I sure hope you are right and she does start walking before we leave. rolleyes.gif

Awwh I am sorry to hear that. Sounds like you want her to walk more than she wants to!! LOL

I found this on a website: 12-13 months is average, and as late as 16 months is perfectly normal. HTH.

She will be walking and even running before you know it. Hope she walks soon for you!! wink.gif

No, I know it's not abnormal and I know she will do it in time. I've always been a believer of that wink.gif. It's just that she really has me suprised that she is not because she was crawling, cruising, standing WAY before her sister ever was and Kylie walked at 12 months. I am ultimately fine with how long it takes her, it would just be a lot easier on her and us if she was walking by the time we went camping. wink.gif

She's so close...it really seems she will get there before you go. She's definitely a cutie pie! It kind of shocked me to see she is 14months. It seems like you just had her...

You might be better off if she isn't walking. Now Nora wants to walk on her own EVERYWHERE and it takes forever for her to get anywhere. rolleyes.gif

laugh.gif You mean Sophia walks a lot faster? Kylie is still a hokey pokey and feels like it takes forever, but you are right I'm sure if Megan was walking it would see WORSE than forever, lol.
