My long intro

Hi all! My name is Cassie and I'm 24...25 in October. I'm married to Rob, a remarkably loving and generous man...he is the beginning of my roots.

I was born in Hawaii but I have no memories of Hawaii. My Dad, a service man was killed when I was weeks old, automobile accident and soon after my Mum moved us to New Zealand to be closer to her extended family. That didn't last long because she met an Aussie, married him and moved us to Australia....all over Australia...wanderlust. When I was 15 my Mother and Step-father divorced and my Mum moved us back to the states. I was pregnant at that time but was too bloody scared to say so.

I made lots of mistakes early on but giving birth to and my decision to raise my Molly Ann was not a mistakes. Molly is responsible for my learning to see past my own nose, she saved me from myself.

I have never had that feeling of roots and I wanted them for my Molly. Growing up and traveling all over was a wonderful learning experience and it taught me to stand on my own but it was also terribly lonely. I want Molly to be surrounded by family at holiday time, to have memories of grandparents, cousins, the whole family number...everything I didn't have so I looked to marry in order to give Molly those experiences I yearned for as a child. I've been married for three years now to my husband Rob and he is everything I ever hoped for in a husband and father. We recently half inherited and half purchased a home...a big farm house that has great potential but right now creaks and groans worst than an old lady...still it's home, roots.

The picture in my avatar is our Hannah Marie and she's almost three months now. After giving birth to Hannah, Rob and I decided to give up control of our reproduction and accept however many gifts God deems to send us. Okay...so...I'm rethinking that a little right now as I just found out I'm pregnant and due in December...I am thrilled but at the same time I'm terrified. I hope I'll be able to handle two soooo close in age. I keep telling myself parents do it with twins and more all the time so I should be able to do it too. Excited and scared at the same time.

I've carried on long enough. I hope to get to know you ladies and to develop new friendships.

Thank you Joni. Your children are beautiful! What did he do in the cup? Most of all I want a healthy baby but this time around I'd sort of like a boy so what do they do in the cup? Maybe I don't want to know. That hit me as so funny.

Hi Jennifer! Happy Birthday to you! You met your husband early on...wish I could say the same thing...my husband's such a good daddy but he's not Molly's biological daddy..I don't regret having Molly but I do regret that my choices have given her a more difficult road to travel, less clear than her sisters.
