I'm leaving for my doc appointment in just about 20 minutes so I'll update you when I get back. Let's hope something is happening down there.

Well, I was hoping to be a bit farther along down there, but just got back from my doc appointment and at 35 weeks I'm a fingertip to 1 cm dialated and 75% effaced. It's what I thought I would be though, so I'm not disappointed. I know this baby is in there for the long haul. Edit: Oh and baby is head down and ready.
I woke up this morning feeling like a ton of bricks on my chest and a very very sore throat. I thought it went away the other day but I guess not. So that went along with the highlight of my doc appointment. BUT you are right Kimberley, I don't have farther to go, let's just hope it goes fast. Thanks for thinking about me. Oh and BTW, I'm not ready for Miss Megan yet. I don't have her room done yet. I still need to buy a few more things. DH still has a few rooms left in the house to paint. And to be quite honest, with Kylie being sick so much lately I've had no real time to just *bond* with her like I really wanted to before Megan arrives. So even though I'm tired and achy and want to stop feeling that way I really need more time to get things done. Lets hope that its not in for longer than needed though....
Seems like we all have had time to get ready for this but with it getting closure things are now starting to come to light which have not been done yet. Not like we have had over 30 weeks to prepare for this anyway I'm starting to realise that i have still got a fair bit to do - Like find somewhere to live as where we are now is far too small -------------------- |

Sounds like you had a good appointment overall. I am sorry you are still sick, did your Doc say if you could take anything?
Get some rest, and spend some time with Kylie... I know how important it is to have some time for just the two of you. Sending more GET WELL vibes your way! -------------------- |

LOL! I just came here to post the same thing! Granted, I'm a few days behind!
I just can't believe you are 35 weeks already! I"m glad the appt went well and Megan is ready to meet you. I hope you are able to get some things done around the house and get to spend some quality time with Kylie. Did you ever get those preggo pics taken?? You need to do that if you haven't. Trust me, you won't regret it. I'm so glad I had mine done. I was 37 weeks. |
