RC2 corp is recalling some of the wooden Thomas the tank engine toys because of a suspicion of lead paint. I have at least 2 of the recalled items. Here is a link to a list of those items and the form you have to fill out to send the items back.

Not here in the US, but the toys were manufactured in China.

Thanks. My parents just gave the boys a huge set of trains from a neighbor who was getting rid of them. There are maybe 30 or so trains, so I have to go through them and see if any are on the list. Thanks again.

Mason has a huge Thomas collection and even just taking a brief look at the list, I know we have alot of the trains that are on it.
Thanks for the heads up!! I know alot of other people who will certainly appreciate this information too. -------------------- |

Luckily 99% of our are the die cast metal ones, but we do have about 15 wooden ones, but none of those. Those look to be specialty editions
Crazy - I wonder if the co. will reimburse -------------------- |

Well, I am partially ashamed to say that Logan has no Thomas stuff. But good to know. Thanks.

From what it says they are going to send replacement toys and a gift. Jade only has one Thomas set that I bought last year. It has Thomas with a baggage care plus an oval track and the RR crossing sign. The sign and the Red Baggage Car are on the list. I just have to get them to the PO and send them off. -------------------- The Administrators of the Parenting Club take trolls and violators of the Terms of Service Agreement seriously. Lovely! Evan has almost all of them. Plastic and wooden with that darn table that is too big for the living room. It is going to be a fight to get those away from him.
