Hands free pump

Platinum Member Group: Members Posts: 8,735 Member No.: 1,474 Joined: 1-March 05	Anyone have one or tried one? My best girlfriend is due with her first child in four weeks. Buying a pump is a very personal choice, so I haven't pushed. But she called and asked my opinion on them yesterday and I told her that I loved my Medela PIS. She is looking at their "Hands-Free" version since she plans to work at home, which I just can't seem to make sense of. Where do the bottles go? She said they just hang. I told her that they get heavy when full, which is why you hold them. She didn't have an answer. Just assumed it all sits in your bra. Hmmmmmmm. I'm not convinced. Only thing different were the "leg" things that I guess help support the weight of the bottles on your chest. Seems like quite the contraption though. And not to knock it, but I told my friend that it is so quick to just hold the cones up to your boobs and turn it on. I would think it would be hard to get those leg things in place. I didn't try to work from home, so maybe I can't relate. But I enjoyed the time to myself to pump. It was relaxing to sit alone and gave me time to catch my breath from a hectic day with the baby. That is why mothers who cannot be with their baby fulltime go to the trouble of pumping their milk and storing it for baby's feedings.
