Morning! Some of you know I am a single mom right now going through a divorce. My daughter is 2.5 and I am going through one heck of a divorce. I am struggling more than ever Financially. I have the opportunity to pick up a PT job from 230-730 M-F at 1150 an hour. GOOD pay here. The issue I have is my daughter is with him only Sun afternoon through Wed evening at 6pm. I cry everytime I take her home cause I miss her so much but I am killing myself financially and having a hard time supporting her.
What would any other MOM single or not do?? Thanks so much for the help.... -------------------- ~Mommie to Makenzi~

What I am asking I guess is....Would you others take the time away from her/him to make your lifes a bit more stress free and financially better?

Is there any way to reaarange the schedule with your soon to be ex, so you wouldn's have to put your child in day care or find someone else to watch. I am a single mom of a 4 yr old and I am also in a financial bind right now. Fortunately I have family that help take care of him when I work or go to college. I missed him tremendously when I was gone..which was a lot because I was in nursing school and had to work to support us. But we have a great relationship and he is such a wonderful little boy.
But you have to do what's best for you and your child..but you know that. Let me just say, that it's very hard at first, but it does get easier. Best Wishes, Rachael |
