Wil threw up last Wed night, but then he was fine all day Thursday. Fine over the weekend, until yesterday (Sunday), he threw up again. And Wesley just threw up big time on the couch! I don't get what this is. They don't have any other symptoms. If it were food poison, wouldn't we all have it, or wouldn't the boys have had it at the exact same time? It seems like something Wil passed to Wesley, but who knows where he picked it up. Yuck..............Off to clean my couch and put Wesley down for a nap.
Let me know if someone has an idea on what this could be. Thanks -------------------- Rae SAHM to Wil (4) and Wesley (2) ~ Wife to Richard 10/20/01

Something is going around... the kids had diarrhea for about a day with no other symptoms.

Yeah there has been a virus going around that is exactly like that at least in children, In the adults it has been a lot worse (at least for us and our friends). My nephew had it yesterday he threw up twice in and then just felt kinda yucky the rest of the day.

So anyone think I should take them in? Or is it just a virus that can clear up by flushing it out of your system with water? I just think its strange that Wil was fine for a few days and then back to throwing up.

If they don't have a high fever, I would let try to let it run it's course.

Thanks! They both don't have fevers, so I suppose I'm safe. Thanks for the reminder on hydration.

Kylie had a virus like that earlier this year. Megan and her both did. Kylie got sick one day, didn't get sick for two days and then got sick again the day after that. Megan only got sick once in all that but had diarrhea and then days later Kylie got that. Weird stuff, but I bet it's just a virus.

Yes that nasty thing went through my house too, DH and I had it for 24 hours, Hanna never got it, and Aubrey had diarrhea one day and threw up a couple of times as well, but mostly from her coughing her head off. It'll go away soon. Just keep them hydrated like everyone else has said.

Oh no, not two weeks! Well I had it BAD all day Tuesday. I seriously had to call DH and have him come home from work early to watch the kids. I couldn't get out of bed unless it was to run to the bathroom and throw up. I seriously was throwing up water and didn't eat a thing for 24 hours. Lost 6 lbs. I finally was able to get down some gatorade and a half a piece of bread so that I could take some Advil. It was awful, truly the worst I've ever felt...Worse than my labor I think! Yesterday I felt okay, but today I sorta feel it coming on again. Wil is fine, but Wesley still seems off. And DH feels it some, but he hasn't had any bathroom visits yet. We're going away for a spa weekend and I just pray that we are all better by then. Fingers crossed. -------------------- Rae SAHM to Wil (4) and Wesley (2) ~ Wife to Richard 10/20/01

My wife is sure the diarrhea Keian has is caused by bacteria he got from our dog. Even though they are almost never in contact with one another.
Since it seems like it's going around, I guess our dog has been getting around.......... -------------------- Convincing the world that the only way to solve the ongoing issues while raising children is PERSISTENCE. Thanks you guys! Maybe its dehydration, but I'm feeling a wave of nausea again. I went to Whole Foods this morning and seriously felt like I was drugged. I couldn't focus and I seriously went down aisles without knowing what I was looking for. My body still aches. Ugh
