Anyone have it or know someone who has it?
I was just diagnosed yesterday after long battles with doctors trying to figure out why my bladder feels like I'm nine months pregnant when I'm not. So I'm glad to finally get a diagnosis, but the treatment is life long and well...not so exciting. I was just wondering how you are dealing with it, what has helped you or anyone you know who has it? -------------------- ~*Karen*~

Ummm, isn't that just a bladder infection? I think that is what my doc told me I had, I asked what that was and he said a bladder infection. Maybe I am wrong?

Yeah, IC is when the lining of your bladder has broken down and your bladder can't take the potassium of your urine without pain - best way I can explain it. It makes you feel like you have to pee 24/7 (literally) and very uncomfortable pain....unfortunately. -------------------- ~*Karen*~

Sorry you are having to deal with this. Hope you and your Dr. can figure out a treatment that helps with the pain.

Thanks. There is no cure for IC. There is only manageable treatment of strict diet and a medication to help rebuild the bladder lining. At least there is something to manage it, though. -------------------- ~*Karen*~

I have a neurogenic bladder. Took a pill to go and a pill to hold it. Currently on no bladder meds.
