Hi All,

I do not have an exercise routine on a regular basis, but I am on my feet and moving around all day at work and at home. I do go for walks daily.

My question is, what kinds of quick exercises do you all fit in during the day? DO you park far from the entrance of work/mall/supermarket for the extra walking? Climb steps instead of the elevator? Things like that...

Looking for some new ideas, mostly for health reasons and to get the blood pumping.

Do you have stairs in your house? I use my stairs as a stepper like an areobic class, or just running up and down them a few times.

I do lunges while I'm cooking or standing by the sink. Waiting for a pot of water to boil always takes a while, so lunge away. Or squats is what I really mean. I also have two sets of stairs in our house. Top floor and basement. So I go up and down a lot, holding an 18.5 lb baby too. Plus, I sometimes do lateral raises with my legs when going up stairs. Or I have even used Wesley to do bicep curls. Just lie him on his side and pull up with elbows remaining down. thumb.gif Can you tell I love to workout?

I too believe yoga or meditation can be the best way to start your day with. Basis on which you can also take brisk walking or jogging which has many benefits from our health point of view. As swimming thrice a week is also referred as a good form of exercise to loose excess weight or BP problem.
