In order to make Parenting Club enjoyable for all members, including those with dial-up connections and smaller screen resolutions, we ask that everyone keep their siggy size within the new standards for signatures.

Please keep your total signature to 300 (height) X 600 (width). I've made a template to demonstrate the maximum size, please feel free to use this template to measure your signature:

http://www.parentingclub.com/siggy_size.html

Please note: All the elements of your signature, including text, buttons, tickers and pictures should fit within 300 (height) X 600 (width). If you have any questions, or need help resizing your signature, please email or PM myself or one of the moderators.

Thank you in advance for making Parenting Club a great place for everyone!

Thanks Kimberley. Hey-could someone resize mine so I can fit both of the things (the pictures of Ashton AND the pregnancy ticker) in my siggy? Is that possible? Thanks!

When I measure that purple box with my fingers and then look at my siggy it JUST barely fits, so let me know if it's still too big!

May I use this one

The sample comes out to 900 pixels.. this comes out to 897, just different dimensions

it is a bit big. can you resize it a little smaller? i know i don't have my window maximized but most siggys are about a quarter to half my screen, yours is more than the whole screen.

and he IS cute as a button wub.gif

I figured it would be an issue here. I thought the whole point was load time? Wouldn't that be the amount of pixels in the picture, since that is what is loading? If it was stretched or designed horizontally would fit in.. it's a vertical lay out. I'm sorry I don't mean to make trouble but it just does not make sense to me at all. Being an admin on another board, I'm pretty in touch with bandwidth and load times.. and I've just not been able to figure out the reasonings here. We don't allow the animated sigs on our site as they use up a ton of bandwith loading.. but those seem to be ok here and a flat file is not..

I'll resize it just to be pc - correct I guess. wink.gif Thanks.

laugh.gif you are funny.. your question is valid.. no trouble to be made. most people don't have a clue about bandwidth or load time so we set a "standard" for everyone to go by. if it is off by a bit, we generally don't worry about it, but your siggy the way it was would have created a ton of reports because it "looks" bigger, kwim? as for why we allow the animated siggys... no idea, ask Rod. dunno.gif

I'm seeing some oversized signatures. Please check your sizes and make adjustments as necessary.
