She is leaving this morning and will be gone for two weeks.......and she has been promising for months that she would be here for the entire month of August so she can keep the kids when I am in the hospital. My sister and Aunt and most of my friends have offered to help however whenever so I know I am covered but still why has she been promising for so long if in reality she knew she would be gone. Now I am praying I have her while she's gone just out of spite D) (really mature...I know)

That sucks! I'm sorry that you've been put in this situation. hug.gif But at least you have other friends & family who are willing to help out.

And it may be immature, but if I were you I'd be hoping to have her while she was gone too! tongue.gif

She knew she would be leaving. My parents go to CA for about 2-3 weeks out of the month (usually my mom will be home a week that SD isn't) and they help take care of SD's dad.
All along she has been telling me that she would be staying this month but she knows my SD hates making the drive by himself and then doesn't particularly like being "alone" for the time he's there so she knew he would go with him at some point. My sister knew she was going back and offered to watch the kids at that point, I kind of ignored it "knowing" mom om was sticking arround like she told me she was. I only found out by a fluke when she asked if we could go out to dinner early for my birthday because SD wanted to leave today. THen I had to ask if she was going with him.
I guess I knew she wouldn't be of much help she took off 2 weeks form work when katy was born and I think we saw her for about 2 hours total. it was more the fact that she has been promising (therefore I have been turning down other offers) to help.
NOW KASSIE NEEDS TO GET OUT SO I CAN pthhh.gif

Oh I'm sure she will be back before the little one comes, but I would be annoyed with my mom too. She should have just been upfront with you so that you could make other plans. Well you know where I am...so don't hesitate to call! wink.gif

Well she's cutting it really close. It's quite possible you'll have that baby in the next couple of weeks. I hope the rest of your family holds up on their promise to help if and when needed. hug.gif
