Ok, I'm new here (Hi everyone!) and wanted to ask a favor. I am doing a bit of research for my sister and would like to ask anyone who has an opinion about Montessori to share it with me. What do you think?

Any feelings, positive or negative, would be welcomed!

My 2nd (Cade) went to a Montessori preschool. I loved it! He knew so much within one year. I was highly impressed. It really helped him when he entered public school because he was always ahead of the game and he just breezed through. He is still well above average in everthing, especially reading.

I definitely would recommend it....it was just to expensive to do on our own, he was sent by the school district because of a speech delay.

There was a pretty extensive thread about this awhile back. Do a search on montessori- you should be able to find it. My kids went, had a positive experience, you can read more of my thoughts on that thread.
