Jacob's dance

Diamond Member Group: Moderators Posts: 18,627 Member No.: 249 Joined: 28-August 03	the week before Christmas, Jacob's class had a dance. before the dance, i asked him how he felt about them and he said they were okay. i asked if he was nervous to ask the girls to dance and shockingly, he said "no, they ask me to dance" i'm thinkin.. a'ight Casanova lol so when i pick him up that day, he is... out of sorts. so i ask what's up. he said he'll talk when we get home so i figure he doesn't want his bro to know. we get a few minutes alone and he unravels the conversation goes a bit like this... "mom, i did it." did what? "i was so nervous. I went to ask Jillian to dance but it was just too much and as i was about to grab her hand... i just couldn't... and i just walked around for a bit." as i try not to giggle, he continues... "so i build up the nerve to ask her and i can't find her. they only play to slow ones and the song already started. i finally found her and asked and she said yesssss!!!! don't worry, mom... i played it cool. she didn't know i was nervous. i was like.. hey, u wanna dance and she was like.. ya okay." at this point, i am about to burst! so i ask.. did you enjoy it? he flushed and after a long pause says... yaaaaaaaaa! lol then i asked if he danced with her again and he said, "no! i didn't want to go through that again. mom, i couldn't even eatmy lunch!!!!!!!" LMAO ROFL omg if you know Jacob, u know he loves to eat. for him to say that was freakin hilarious!! he has his first crush! a few days later he said he sent her a candy cane. i asked him if she knew it was from him and he said he wasn't sure lol. poor baby. i totally remember these feelings he's having and am so glad he's comfortable to share them with me. sorry this got long... i just had to share. -------------------- mama to Jacob, James, Jade, Kaleigh and Riley!!
