My old hairdryer bit the dust. dry.gif What do you reccomend? I have very thick hair that I can do either wavy or straight. So I like to attach a defuser for curls, but don't like the kind that have straightening brushes attached..Thanks

Funny you should ask this just now- mine wore out on me the other day and I JUST picked up an AWESOME one that my mom has- I used it last week after the gym and LOVED it.

It's called the Remington T-Studio Collection. Its a tourmaline ceramic dryer, 1875 watts and much quieter than most I've had. I have thick hair that is actually pretty long right now and it dries it super quick. It says on the box it should do the job 40% faster and after using it, its pretty dead on! It also comes with an airflow concentrator attachment and a separate diffuser (no straightening brush attached).

I paid $35.49 for it at Target literally a few hours ago! Definitely recommend it smile.gif

Mine is a Conair, and the thing I love is it has a sensor you can turn on or off, that senses when you're holding it, and turns it back on, or senses when you're not, and turns it off. Sounds silly, but I like it when I need both hands for a second...I can put it down, it turns off, then pick it up and it starts again. Not a huge time saver or anything, but it's nice not to have to turn it off and on.

Sounds good! And I have Super Target just up the street, yay!

Jen, I saw that Ulta carries a lot of the new Chi. They are expensive though, what's so special about them? I don't think I've ever paid more than $28 or so for one, but maybe that's why mine blew out quick. tongue.gif
