Ashley is almost 9 years old and I do not let her go outside unless I go outside and watch her. I remeber riding my bike to my friend's houses at this age, but no way would I let Ashley do that now. But I can't imagine why those parents would leave a leave year old and 5 year old outside to play by themselves. A fenced in back yard is one thing.... I just can't imagine. --------------------

I am super paranoid as well (my 5 year old still has a video monitor in her room) and there is NO way I would let such young children play outside unsupervised. I guess there are still lots of people out there who think this kind of thing will never happen to them but the truth is, it can happen to anyone, anywhere. With that being said, I do hope they find this little girl alive and I sure hope it doesn't end up being another case of the Parents being involved.
