I have a question regarding some strange markings on my 2 1/2 month old son's right leg. He has very prominent veins on the side of his lower leg and the top of his foot. It's web-like dark marks in the patterns of veins, so I assume they are his veins. Sometimes they are not there, but most of the time they are either light or very dark. It doesn't cover his whole leg, just a small part of it. He's had it since birth, my mother in law thought she had his socks on too tight, but I told her that he's always had it.
He saw his pediatrician yesterday and she referred me to a dermatologist. I was wondering, however, if anyone here knows what I'm talking about or has had this issue with their children. Any input would be appreciated. |
My granddaughter was recently born with the same thing, on the same leg. She is 7 months old. I was wondering how your son made out, since it is almost 5 years later. I sent you an email. Thanks, Kathy |
