rice pudding? To me it sounds disgusting but Dh said that his mom used to make it and it was really good. I got her recipe and I thought I'd try it. It just sounds really bland.
I have his great grandma's recipe for homemade egg noodles so I made them a couple times and oh my gosh they are sooooo good! They were so good I could've eaten them plain with nothing on them! I've tried rice pudding and LOVE it. But,,, I love puddings and custards. I've never tried to make it, though. Give it a try. It cant hurt. If the recipe ends up being good,, send it my way -- I'd love to try it! LOL

Well here's the recipe, I assume it's good. Every recipe I've gotten from my MIL has turned out good. 3 slightly beaten eggs 2 cups milk 1 1/2 cups cooked rice 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup raisins 1 tsp vanilla ground cinnamon Preheat oven to 325. In bowl, combine eggs, milk, rice, sugar, raisins, vanilla and 1/2 tsp salt; mix well. Bake in 10x6x2 baking dish (I'm using a 8x8 dish) at 325 for 25 minutes. Stir. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Continue baking til knife inserted comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes longer. Serve warm or chilled with light cream (or milk) if desired. -------------------- Joni
