when bh are really contractions? Ive been having a lot of pain lately but am just thinking they are strong BH as I had them towards the end with Lexi that didn't do anything. I called my doctor and he just told me to take it easy until my appointment.

Sorry for the dumb question

I have heard that BH will go away if you drink more water and lay on your left side. if they don't go away or intensify I would call again or go in to be checked.

BH contractions should stop if you change positions (standing if sitting or lying down if standing, for example). They shouldn't increase in frequency...shouldn't be very timeable. Like Tara said, drink a lot of fluids and rest. I have read that you should call your doctor if you have more than 4 in an hour.

thumb.gif Glad to hear! And, I always say, when in doubt, always at least call your doctor. At the very least, it will ease your mind.
