QUOTE (amomsjob @ Jan 8 2006, 07:04 PM)
My husband and I don't really like to say "unplanned" at all. both of our kids have not fallen on the schedule that we had for our lives, but we have always wanted 3-4 kids. So they were "Planned", just not "scheduled". smile.gif

that like us...we had planned on having 2-3 (he said 2 I said 3) and had even named them 8 years ago but accoring to our schedule our first should still be a newborn.

Wil was planned. We tried for about six months. I did the charting my basal body temp each morning method...it wasn't until I threw my charts out the door that we got PG! This one wasn't necessarily planned, but I somehow knew that we had conceived the moment we did the deed.

Our first was unplanned - well not totally - we were already planning on moving in together, later on getting married and having kids - we just did it reverse order. blush.gif

Our second was sorta planned - we decided to try, expecting it to take 3 months, and got pg in first try. We didn't want a december baby, but she was born the 28th of december.

Naomie was a complete surprise!

My first was planned, but our send two were both surprises. Our second was the bigger surprise, I was on the pill and hadn't missed any pills. We came to the conclusion that my epilepsy pills screwed them up. Plus my first was only 6 months old, when I found out that I was 8 weeks along.

So, I couldn't take hormonal stuff, it was a waste. So we used condoms. We were good for 4 years, then on vacation, we were not so careful! Hello baby #3!

I didn't vote - but I guess I'd lean toward 'surprised' only because we weren't _exactly_ ttc....but we weren't doing anything to prevent things either.

DD#1 is a honeymoon baby. We knew we wanted kids - just hadn't really thought about 'when'.....DD decided for us pretty fast. wink.gif

My first was planned, but a surprise because we were trying, but I was convinced I COULDN'T get pregnant. Even though I miscarried, I had to stay positive, and said, "At least I know I can GET pregnant."

Trei-Trei was planned, and we were hoping for twins. When we found out he was a singleton, we already planned on this one, Azia.

Azia, obviously was planned, and Geoff is already talking about the next one... wacko.gif

All 3 were planned and conceived in the first month ttc.
Needless to say, I don't have the option of being reckless with bc.

Both boys were planned. I went off the bcp, waited a couple months, and then started ttc. With Nathan it took about 6 months to get a BFP... Tyler was the 1st month of ttc.
