I hate it! I'd forgotten how much I hate it..Planning my wedding with Brad was less then exciting and pleasant..
So we decided last night to give the idea of a semi formal VA wedding a big thumbs down! We couldn't break down the numbers on who to invite and everything in the budget kept doubling. (getting married in the DC tri state area is a $10,000 minimum affair unless you have connections)
So we decided to use the connections we do have..A friend who is a manager at a DC bar for a fun reception and another friend who is a caterer for the snacks and a bartender for drinks during the wait for the ceremony to start. (wedding is going to be a night wedding thing.. candles, roses and all romantical things)
we decided to have it at home. Only my intimidate and his immediate family are invited.
After we are going to kick it at his friends bar..anyone who wants to come, can. We are saving all of our pennies for the south african wedding..
Which is a whole other adventure in itself.

Right now we think we can nail this thing for $1,000. sweet eh?

Only 6 people will be at the actual wedding. I really wanted to keep it small and you know you invite one person and the world is up in arms..LOL
