I signed up for Freecycle Thunder Bay. I had no idea that I had been aproved, but it allowed me to post a message. So I posted about the Wiggles Toddler Bed that Claudia had outgrown. I never use my Yahoo account so I didn't know that I was approved or that the message was even posted. Anyway apparently I was approved and the message was posted. I completely forgot about the whole thing. So now it's a week later and I had I think 6 responses, so I replied to the first person that responded. She had sent me 2 emails, plus her reply to the message. Anyway I emailed her yesterday and appologized, explained to her what happened and told her that she could have it if she was still interestedl and that there wasn't a problem with delivery.
I have not heard back from her at all. Not a response saying she isn't interested, nothing. So I emailed her back and told her that if I didn't hear back from her in the next few days I would have to repost it. So here's my question, do I repost it or offer it to the second person that replied to the message? I'm new at this so I'm not sure what to do. -------------------- |

How long has it been? If it's been awhile I'd say just repost it. If not go to the next person. Chances are, if it's been awhile, they found it somewhere else. KWIM?

I'd give her 3 days from the first email you sent her, then send another to say you are sorry, but have to move on to the next person. I'd go to the next one that had replied to the first post, but if you deleted those already just repost it.

How'd this go? Did you give it away to someone who responded in the beginning?
