The weekly appointment are never usually all that thrilling but I found out this week that I don't have GBS this time! banana.gif I was expecting I would probably test positive for it again but it was negative. I'm so relieved ~ this means no antibiotics and no IV!! thumb.gif Well if I got an epi or an intrathecal I'd need an IV but I'm planning on no epi because it sucked last time, and if I do an intrathecal I'll wait until right before I push so I won't have to deal with the IV for long. happy.gif I'm also really relieved because I was afraid of getting thrush right away again from the antibiotic, and I do NOT want to deal with thrush this time!

Oh and I'm a centimeter dilated, but she said my cervix is still long and Allie hasn't dropped yet. wink.gif

Awesome!!!! You're getting so close!!!!

I thought if you had tested positive for GB before that they automatically treated you in subsequent deliveries?

I think some places do. I wasn't sure if they would even test me again since i tested positive before. I asked my dr. if they would still treat me and she said no. happy.gif
