What is your ideal valentine's day?

ME: get dressed up, go to a nice dinner. maybe some dancing and drinks after. go for a drive, talk, make out. come home, get a hot oil massage, make love til dawn in a candle lit room with no interruptions. wub.gif

DH: eat, watch TV, get "pleasured", go to sleep without interruptions. rolleyes.gif

Haa...No kidding!! you're so right on the money!

It's amazing that any of us even have kids..as hard as it is to find some common ground for romance between the sexes!

My ideal v-day is a night in a hotel room alone with DH. We could order room service and go for a couple's massage, come back and take a nice long bath in the jacuzzi tub sipping on champagne and strawberries. happy.gif

DH's ideal v-day is a nice dinner out (or in) with his family, then back home where he hopes to get lucky. happy.gif

His would probably be not ending up in the doghouse for forgetting about Valentine's Day!

Here's the guys side of this though.

I'd really really REALLY love it if all the kids would get to go to the sitter and I could SLEEP for a few hours. Then whatever she wanted, that's cool. But first sleep.

Rember maslows hierachy. Basic needs come before Social interaction. LMAO

Ahhhhh... but doesn't good ol' Maslow classify sex as a basic need? wink.gif You know, in his original five stage model - "air, food, drink, shelter, warmth, sex, sleep, etc." - the basic physiological needs.

I'd have to say, in my world, sleep would definitely be listed before sex!! But that's just because I'm sleep deprived. rolling_smile.gif
