plz help me decide on baby monitor....i want to buy a baby monitor as soon as posible.
What feature did you consider while purchasing a baby monitor? audio video vibration alert ease of use reliability price brand name body temperature of baby room temoerature heart beat vaccination reminder feeding, napping alarm SIDS prevention web based chat Other: I want night vision and talk back facility also. Which baby monitor have you used? Are there any problems you faced with that particular monitor? |

The best purchase we made was the Angelcare Monitor:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00066LRD...ASIN=B00066LRDC Since it detects the heartbeat, I could actually sleep at night without checking on my daughter every five minutes. There are more advanced ones now with all the features, just depends on what you want. Being able to hear her and knowing the her heart was beating was enough to allow me to relax. -------------------- |

What you have to consider is low radiation
So don't buy cheap "no name" baby monitor |

I really liked the Summer Day/Night video monitor. It has very good range, and a clear picture. I know that experts say that video monitoring is not necessary, but having the monitor on hand is very reassuring.
